We have a Unity 5.0(1) server storing messages on our Exchange 2003 SP2 server (running Windows 2003 SP2. Whenever Symantec Backup Exec version 11d runs a backup job on the Exchange information store, Unity reports the information store is offline. During the backup, we can connect to Exchange with outlook and are not experiencing any other issues. Only the Unity server is reporting the information store offline. Does the AvWm service, when determining the state of Exchange, have any parameters such as timeout values that can be increased?
