Hi,

I'm installing a Unity 4.03.

CUICA at point 4. ask me to configure the message store.

I'm giving the exchange administrator account and password with the right privileges but I can't reache the Exchange 2003 mailboxes store.

I get the error "Failed getting default mailbox store from directory monitor" see attached screenshots, and the Unity installation stops.

Anyone can help me?

Thank you.

Resolution:

**************

USING CONFIGMGR.EXE:

====================

1. Explore to the following path: \Commserver\ConfigMgr.exe - double click to open.

2. When the window opens up, Click on the Advanced button. A warning message pops up -

click on 'Yes' to continue.

3. Once ConfigMgr opens up, Cick on Browse and navigate to the following path:

\Commserver\Localize\DefaultConfiguration\ENU\ and choose the

UnityConfigurationDatabase.sql file. Click ok.

4. Click on the Run Dabase Configuration Script radio button.

5. Click on 'Run'

6. Watch the dancing armadillo. When it is done dancing, the script will be done.

7. Click Exit to exit out

This process should take less than 5 minutes

8. Next, you will need to run the Message Store Configuration Wizard.

USING QUERY ANALYSER (SQL2k Tools need to be installed):

=================================================

1. Open Query Analyser

2. select UnityDB

3. go to File-Open, find the file:

C:\Commserver\Localize\DefaultConfiguration\ENU\UnityConfigurationData.sql

4. select the UnityConfigurationData.sql

5. Press Run to execute.

6. Run the Message Store Configuration Wizard.

COMMAND LINE (MSDE IS INSTALLED AND NO SQL2K TOOLS ARE AVAILABLE):

===============================================================

1. Open a cmd prompt

2. CD to C:\CommServer\Localize\DefaultConfiguration\ENU\

3. Run the following command:

osql -E -i UnityConfigurationData.sql

Please note the following:

the above always mentions:

C:\CommServer\Localize\DefaultConfiguration\ENU\

-> ENU

If the default language is different, replace ENU, by the correct directory.

Once you have done this, please try running the MSCW again and let me know if it resolved

the problem.
