Unity JRE tzupdate error and fix - FYI

FYI, Just in case anyone applies the JRE Tzupdate and gets errors like below. You may try to copy the tzupdater files to a folder off the root, like c:\dst instead of keeping them under the unity_dst_updates folder or where ever you extracted them to.

Did not work:

E:\DSTUpdate\Unity_DST_Patches\JRE_time_zone_update>e:\CommServer\cscoserv\Ja

va2

SDK\jre\bin\java -jar tzupdater.jar -u -v -bc

Exception in thread "main" java.util.zip.ZipException: The system

e file specified

at java.util.zip.ZipFile.open(Native Method)

at java.util.zip.ZipFile.<init>(ZipFile.java:112)

at java.util.jar.JarFile.<init>(JarFile.java:117)

at java.util.jar.JarFile.<init>(JarFile.java:55)

When it worked:

C:\dst>E:\CommServer\cscoserv\Java2SDK\jre\bin\java -jar tzupdater.jar -u -v

-bc

java.home: E:\CommServer\cscoserv\Java2SDK\jre

java.vendor: Sun Microsystems Inc.

java.version: 1.4.0_01

JRE time zone data version: tzdata2001d

Embedded time zone data version: tzdata2006p

Extracting files... done.
