Designing a Unity 4.2 solution, redundant servers and a "standalone" message store. Will I be required to obtain Microsoft licensing for each mail box for the seperate Active Directory and Exchange message stores?
You will not because the copy that comes with Unity as the "messaging store" is Enterprise Exchange. CAL's are not counted or are built into the price of the Unity mailbox license.
