Unity Outbound Fax

the cisco unity ip fax service is working properly for internal fax mail

but i can't send or receive any external fax.

when a test a message from the unity it doesn't work, I get the following message on the faxmail account: Delivery to the following recipients has been delayed.

What is the difference between internal and external fax messages? Are they going to the same gateway? You'll probably need to turn on debugs (mentioned in the troubleshooting guide) to see what's happening. In all likelyhood, the message is being sent to the router and then something is going wrong.
