Unity says no new messages-help please

Im running Cisco Unity 4.0 Build 4.0(4) SR 1 on a W2K SP4 and DUCs. We are Lotus Notes 7.0

I have a user who just started having an issue that Unity will answer, and take the message. The Voicemail is delivered to the email as a new message. However if you call in try to retrieve new voicemails, unity says "you have no new messages". I have verified that the email is not being opened. You can hear the message if you open the email so its there. Any clue how I can resolve this??

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
