Unity servers for 9000 users in a centralized multisite environment
I have a requirement for putting Unity for 10000 users in a centralised multisite environment. I am planning to propose 4xMCS7845-I1-ECS1 servers. This requirement is for Voice Mail only. No redundancy. With VM licencing and hardware price coming to 1.2m. Is there a way to reduce the servers and cost.
Even though 7845 supports max 4000 users, I am looking at 3000 users on each box.
Re: Unity servers for 9000 users in a centralized multisite envi
I would think with the size of the deployment, you would actually need a good sized Domain Controller with the FSMO roles just to handle the sheer volume of accounts and take the load off one of the Unity servers handling this. You also have limitations of 96 ports per server... can you calculate port useage based the requirments of the project?
