Is there a way to let assistant get "envelop" on his phone only without getting red led when Manager gets new voicemail.
Also
I have 3000 & 3001 extensions on CME.
is there a way to let 3001 get "envelop" on his phone without red led when 3000 gets new voice mail.
Note:
CCM integrating with unity & CME integrating with CUE
Any ideas?

Hi Youssef,
For CCM;
Under CUCM Services
Message Waiting Lamp Policy* Primary Line - Light and Prompt
This setting Lights the RED MWI for Line 1 only
or on a "per phone" basis;
Line Settings for this Device - Changes affect only this device
Message Waiting Lamp Policy - Prompt
The "Flashing Envelope" will then work for this Secondary line with no RED Lamp.
For CME;
When the DN isn't the Primary Line on the phone (have a look at this command);
mwi-line
To designate a line other than the primary line of an ephone to be associated with the ephone's message waiting indicator (MWI) lamp, use the mwi-line command in ephone configuration mode. To return to the default, use the no form of this command.
mwi-line line-number
no mwi-line
Syntax Description
line-number
Line number to be associated with the MWI lamp. Range is from 1 to 34.
Command Default
A phone's MWI lamp is lit only when there is a message waiting for the phone's primary line (line 1).
From this good doc;
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/command/reference/cme_m1ht.html#wp1013830
Hope this helps!

Hi huffman,
Thanks for your reply.
BUT
Sorry i think i do not clear in my clarification.What I need is:
In CCM (4.1(3)),specifically in IPMA,what ask about is when manager gets voice mail,his assistant gets envelop only BUT when assistant gets his own voice mail he gets lamp & envelop in his phone as normal.
In CME (3.3),i need the same bevaiour.
Can we make that possible from unity (4.5) & CUE (2.x)
Regards,
Ahmed
