Unity upgrade from 3.1.6 to 4.2

We have a customer with Unity VM only on version 3.1.6 and trying to upgrade to Unity 4.2 Unified messaging and replace the server at the same time.

There are around 800 VM boxes and 75 call handlers what is the best way to do the upgrade so we don't have to rebuild all these call handlers.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Re: Unity upgrade from 3.1.6 to 4.2

Take a look at the following 2 links. Although you could choose to do either task first, I would recommend that you upgrade the existing Unity and then perform the steps to replace the server. This will give you a clean install of 4.2 on the new server as opposed to installing 3.1(6) and then upgrading to 4.2.
