Current: Unity UM (Exchange) 4.2.1 on MCS 7825; no failover; no voice cards; integrated with CCM 4.2.3
Target: Unity UM (Exchange) 4.2.1 on MCS 7835; WITH failover; no voice cards; integrated with CCM 4.2.3
No messages stored on Unity before or after.
As I understand things, this can be accomplished in one of two ways:
1 - Build one 7835 NOfail, DiRT restore, then add and config failover
2 - Build new Unity pair completely, then DiRT restore
I'd prefer to do #2, but can't find any documentation that directly addresses going from one hardware platform withOUT failover, to another hardware platform WITH failover. I'm aware that our old license files will need to be re-homed in either case.

The only method tested is #1 - doing a dirt restore onto a failover pair will almost certainly not work correctly as the entire DB is replaced in one shot and all your replication tags will be destroyed.

#1 it is, then. Thanks!
