I have seen that Unity integartion with AD is possible in unified communication installation , But I have having a schnerio where I am having Unity with Voice mail only and wanna Integrate AD that is installed on another server.
Also is there any befefit for that ??

Essentially, you are still installing unity vm-only so the install guide still applies. The difference is that you don't do dcpromo.exe to make the unity a domain controller. Look at the install guide -

You mean Unity as a member server, and the Ad/Domain Controller on a different server? Sure it's a good thing. You will be offloading the ad-services off unity.
