In voicemail only servers, DC/GC, exchange 2000, and unity is installed on the same server. Most configuration is purchased that way. If the server that you have purchased meets the hardware requirements, then yes, you will install all on the same server.
But since I am support a Primary and Secondary Unity server, I need to have a seperate Exchange box, even it is VM only. If I just had one Unity server with Exchange installed on it, it would work. But since I am looking at Failover model (primary and secondary) I need to have essentially, three seperate servers.
