Unity Volume Issues

I am having problems getting steady volume on my calls. I have increased the volume at the gateway level but specifically for Voicemails the volume fades in and out and some recordings are not audible at all. Is anyone else experiencing this or any ideas how to fix. Also the 5 key should be volume control during VM according to the hotkey print I recieved from cisco but this doesnt seem to work. Is that part of the problem or seperate?

If you haven't already, check out the tech tips for audio issues - this is a good one to start with:

the volume key (5 in this case) are only active when using a PBX integration via dialogic - this is why the key doc has a note next to that saying it's not available on all integrations.
