Using RTMT if Publisher is down

If my CallManager Publisher 4.1(3) is offline RTMT stops working as well. This means i get no alerts if the Publisher goes down. Is this by design or should RTMT still function if my subsciber is up and running?

Cheers

Re: Using RTMT if Publisher is down

there is always one server that polls the info from all servers in cluster, the default config is that PUB is that server. If it goes down no other server takes care of doing that automatically, so that is expected to happen.

Re: Using RTMT if Publisher is down

Can the failover be configured so that the SUB can take on the role in event of a failure?

Thanks!

Came across the same problem.

Came across the same problem. Found that it is now possible to configure a fail-over. Kindly find the attached screenshot for reference
