web applications password

hi all,

i am installing cisco unity connection 1.2 with ccm4.2

i am struck at the "cisco unity connection configuration assistant".

its asking me for "web application password" and "voicemail password".

i have tried so many combinations but it keeps on giving errors.

is there any help.

This information is configured during the installation of the box and can be modified. When you create a new account on Unity/UC, the account picks the default password and PIN from the Subscriber template. So, if this was never reset for the user you are trying to login as, you should look at the Subscriber Template ---> Password option for this user. If that also does not work, you should reset the password for this Subscriber from UC Admin Webpage.

this is the starting of unity connection configuration it starts by default after the installation.

this page is called unity connection configuration assistant.

Sandeep:

Web application password is used for logging into PCA. By default it is a complex requriement, One upper case, one lower case and one numeral. This will be the default for all the users.

Voicemail passwrd: has to be a minimum of 6 digits.
