WebDialer for "click to dial" phone numbers with pauses and extra digits
Has anyone had success in using the WebDialer feature to dial non-standard phone number strings? We want to be able to click a URL link on a page (web page, spread sheet etc...) that contains a full dial string including multiple pauses. For example, the string might be: 9,5125551212,*1234#,123456.
If I try to dial anything other than a valid phone number in the webdialer field, or by manually editing the url, I get this error: "Call to [number] failed : Destination not reachable"
If Webdialer is not the way to go for this, feel free to suggest an alternative approach. Our goal is simply to reduce the amount of labor required to dial long strings of numbers. By the way, our application doesn't lend itself well to speed dial programming because the lists are always changing.
