WebEx SSO with Microsoft AD 2008

Hello Everyone,

We are trying to setup our Microsoft AD to sync our accounts with WebEX Connect, using the SSO (Single Sign ON)

We are only able to use the Domain credencials when we are inside on the corporate network and logging on the WebIM.

Do we need to open specific ports on firewall to send the authentication request outside?

Do we need to open another ports in addition to 80/443 to receive the authentication requests and redirect to the federation server?

Do we need to enter a custom login URL on Jabber client when using Cisco Webex for login?

Thanks in advance.

Rgds,

Regards
Leonardo Santana

Hi man,

How are you doing my friend?

First of all you must active the auto-creation and after copy the file MSI to local folder in your desktop ou laptop.

Iinstall the client Jabber for windows using command line and insert the information below.

msiexec.exe /i CiscoJabberSetup.msi TYPE=WEBEX SSO_ORG_DOMAIN=domain.com
  • TYPE=WEBEX specifies Cisco WebEx Messenger as the presence server.
  • SSO_ORG_DOMAIN=domain.com specifies domain.com as the domain name of the SSO org.
After concluded the installation the client will ask you to insert your login and password from domain that you belongs.

Webex

use command line
