What is the right way to read syslog message.

Some time ago i see next message in my mailbox from CUCM:

[RTMT-ALERT-StandAloneCluster] HardwareFailure

On Tue Sep 23 20:06:08 MSD 2008 on node XXX-XXX, the following HardwareFailure events generated: hwStringMatch - hpasmxld[6050]: WARNING: System Overheating (Zone 4, Location Ambient, Temperature 38C)

Where i can read about this? I dont know this part of message correctly "Zone 4"

It looks like the HP server reached a temperature threshold. Your server reached 100 degrees F which is probably pre-configured to throw off an alert to you VIA SMTP or SNMP alerts.

Zone 4 is probably something within the server hardware itself (some sensor or monitor).

On HP website, you can probably find more information regarding SNMP strings on DL380 (if you are using a 7845 server

Yes ,Tcatlinis correct

We need to MCS server model number to find the alert for Zone 4
