Time to start up a service profile

Hello,

I'm trying to set up a demo environment in UCS to show to customers, and I'm experiencing around 15 minutes delay everytime I switch service profiles between blades. Cisco OS utility loads couple or three times in such a test. I'm not sure whether that is the expected time or rather I'm doing something wrong. Blade is Extended Memory and has 160 GB.

Any inputs will be appreciated.

Thanks a lot,

This is a B250?   How are you switching service profiles?   Are you disassociating the original service profile and the re-assocating the new service profile?  Or are you simply selecting an existing server?   15 minutes does not sound unreasonable on a B250 with that much memory.

Actually a b-200 m1 with 48 GB is taking me not much less than this. Is there any option to disable the memory checking everytime a service profile starts up, or some workaround like this in order to decrease this time?

Thanks,

To answer your question on the memory test.  At this time there is no way to disable the memory test.
