Hi,
Is there anyway to change in wich order the management IP addresses is assigned?
Example:
I have a management IP pool of xxx.xxx.xxx.101 with a size of 16 addresses
The management IP then gets assigned to a blade in slot 1 and starts on address .109, i want the first slot to have .101
Why is this happening and is there a way to change the order?
Regards

Kim,
As of UCSM 2.1 there is a new option to set the allocation order of Pools to either "Default" which uses
reverse lexicographic ordering, or "Sequential".
If you find you still can't get the pools to automatically set the IPs to the blades you wish, you can use the "Static" IP assignment for the Management IP. Even if you assign a blade a static Management IP that is within the pooled range, it will appear in the pool as "assigned" - as to prevent duplicate IP allocation.

Robert
