Block VLAN on uplink port

Hello folks -

If I have allowed a VLAN (let's say VLAN 10) on a given vNIC inside a host, how do I prevent that vlan from being trunked northbound to my LAN? In other words, how do I ensure that VLAN 10 doesn't get trunked to my northbound Nexus 5K, but at the same time it is allowed on the vNICs on my hosts?

Thanks!
