In UCS Manager is there a way to view faults that have been cleared and deleted after the retention period has elapsed ?

Not unless you're using an external syslog server. That's the only way to maintain cleared faults indefinately.

Thanks. Now I have to find out why syslog was not working as expected either... :-(
