Hi,
Anyone have an idea how to connected a Cisco UCS Blade to a Brocade DCX Switch? What is the Interop Mode used?
Configuration Guide or Best Practices recommened by Cisco.

Hi Anand,
You'll need to put the Brocade in NPIV Mode (Access Gateway in Brocade terms) and use NPV (End Host) Switching Mode on the Fabric Interconnects.
Have a look at the following link for details on the supported versions:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/datacenter/mds9000/interoperability/matrix/Matrix8.html
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers,
Greg Scarlett.

Hey Greg,
please note NPIV is NOT access gateway mode. Brocade Access gateway = Cisco NPV. On your upstream Brocade switch you just need NPIV, not NPV or Access gateway.
Cheers,
Jose

This post shows basics involved. At least how I do it.
