Good news: I just realised that Cisco updated the prerequisites to DCUCD certification - VMWare is no longer a requirement. Has anyone attended the instructor-led training on DCUCD recently? How are the new changes going to impact newer DCUCD architects/engineers? Does the course (DCUCD) cover vmware/virtualization concepts explicitly now? I actually raised a case with Cisco on this since their DC page does not explain anything at all yet.
Someone get back to me on this please. In fact most of the training centers still advertise this as version 3 - so something is not clear here..
Don't get me wrong, I'd be glad we don't need vmware anymore but at what cost...in the long term?
