I see conflicting information regarding the ESXi 5.5 and 5.5 U1 Support for B230-M1 Blade with Palo Adaptor (see attachment) and UCS 2.2.1

http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/interoperability/matrix/r_hcl_B_rel2-21.pdf

says ESXi 5.0 U2 and U3

http://www.cisco.com/web/techdoc/ucs/interoperability/matrix/matrix.html

says ESXi 5.0 U2 and U3

http://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/search.php

says ESXi 5.5, 5.5 U1, 5.1 U1 and 5.1 U2

The iso driver bundle has all the drivers for ESXi 5.5, 5.5 U1, 5.1 U1 and 5.1 U2

I have seen https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/12072181/b230-m1-and-vsphere-55

which however doesn't answer the question about the conflict !

I got the following information from Cisco

M1 and M2 servers with M81KR for VMWare 5.5 and 5.5U1 are supported via HCL with UCSM Del Mar MR2 - 2.1.3(x) starting Feb 25, 2014.

There will be no support of vSphere 5.5U2 (and beyond) for M1/M2 servers and M81KR adapter, via HCL or RPQ.

The only UCSM release that will support M1/M2 servers and M81KR for vSphere 5.5 and 5.5 u1 is 2.1.3(x)

Gen1 servers and Gen 1 adapters support will be dropped with the release of UCSM 3.0 (Q3FY14)

Which means the information on the VMware site is not correct ??
