FI 6332 HA Not Online

I'm having some trouble getting the HA to come online for our cluster. I'd assume it would come online on it's own but it doesn't seem to be.
Not sure what direction to take this or what information to provide.

As suspected, until you attach chassis or rack servers to the FI, you will not be in HA READY. This is expected. Please report back if issue persist after installing chassis.

Can you provide the outputs from UCS CLI:

UCS#show cluster extended-state

UCS#show pmon state

If you have not attached any chassis to your 6332, HA will not become ready, as it needs to have a heartbeat over the L1-L2 links between the switches, as well as a heartbeat down through the chassis from FI-A > IOM-A > IOM-B > FI-B

FI-A-A# show cluster extended-state
Cluster Id: 0xb26cc794383f11e8-0xbce770695a4e8d7d

Start time: Wed Apr  4 19:42:57 2018

A: UP, PRIMARY
B: UP, SUBORDINATE

A: memb state UP, lead state PRIMARY, mgmt services state: UP
B: memb state UP, lead state SUBORDINATE, mgmt services state: UP

eth2, UP

HA NOT READY

FI-A-A(local-mgmt)# show pmon state

Wes,

Are the L1 and L2 ports to be direct connected (daisy chained) to the other FI or through a switch?

Hello,

The L1-L2 should be directly connected to each other. L1 - L1 : L2-L2.

There should be no switch in between and ideally no patch panel either.

HTH,

Wes
