Issues connecting VSM in Nexus 1010 to vCenter

Hi

I am trying to connect VSM hosted in a Nexus 1010 appliance to mi vCenter,  trying to connect  them trough the java gui installer (vCenter Server Connection option), but in the last step i get an error saying "timeout reached. Something went wrong. Please check the logs files at C:\users\temp etc..".

The ssh connection seems to work fine in a Wireshark capture and I can see that the svs coonection is created in the VSM:

svs connection vcenter

  protocol vmware-vim

remote ip address 172.20.1.147 port 80

  max-ports 8192

Did you know guys any fix to this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Juan,

First off, please check your java version and or try the installler from another machine. This could potentially be problematic.

Also, check if you might have an incorrect management ACL on the Nexus VSM. If so, change it to permit SSH traffic from the Server making the connection to the VSM Host..

Thanks.
