According to my knowledge, there are two M81KR cards in the B440 M1 which both have 2x10G connection to chassis back plane. I have 2 quick questions about M81KR cards in B440 M1 Blade.
1. Does those two cards work as active/standby? Or one 10G connection is active and the other 10G connecyion is standby on each of M81KR card?
2. In addition, could you please advise the load balancing the traffic from Blade to UCS 6140XP and failover strategy for those two cards?
Thank you very much!

The dual 10 gig interfaces on each of the M81KR,s operate as a high performance ethernet nic, supporting stateless offload and active/standby mode natively. No Bonding driver needed for Active/Standby operations. All traffic is routed to standby path at loss od active pinned link, it is moved back when link is restored.
