When you config the service profile, you can set the logically wwpn and

wwnn. Within the service profile you can also then config the boot from san

policy.

Sorry for any typos - by DROIDx

I must use a service profile?

Thanks for the answer

Service profiles can be used on a 1:1 relationship, but yes you must use a service profile to configure a sever in UCS Manager.

Hello Dario,

Cisco VIC ( M81KR ) does not have burnt in WW[P/N]N address. You can configure them by creating HBAs in service profile that will be associated with the blade. Also we need to create a boot policy with SAN boot information and use it in boot order section of the service profile.
