Question on UCS Livemigration/vMotion with VM-Fex

Hi,

I want to know if or how does livemigration/vMotion work, if I have

a) Vm-Fex and

b) 2 UCS domains, each in one active datacenter. Both datacenters connected via a L2 datacenter interconnect, so they are active/active.

I know livemigration/vMotion will work within 1 UCS domain, but within 2 UCS domains I do not know.

No, VM-FEX is managed by the fabric Interconnect cluster.  For this reason you can't use VM-FEX to migrate between separate UCS clusters.
