RAID Battery degraded on B420 M4 Server

Description: RAID Battery on server 12/7 operability: degraded. Reason: BBU relearning is in progress
Affected Object: sys/chassis-12/blade-7/board/storage-SAS-1/raid-battery
Name: Storage Raid Battery Degraded
Cause: Equipment Degraded

To be noted, relearning is in progress since 02/15.

Server was re-acked, no changes found.

Referred UCS fault codes for F0997, says the following:-

If the fault reason indicates the backup unit is in a relearning cycle, wait for relearning to complete.
Step 2 If the fault reason indicates the backup unit is about to fail, replace the backup unit.
Step 3 If the above action did not resolve the issue, create a show tech-support file and contact Cisco TAC

I assume we are on Step 2, trying to replace the backup unit.

Now my question is how to find PID for Backup Unit, I do not see'em in tech_support logs.

I just see the following:-

RAID Battery:
Presence: Equipped
Operability: Degraded
Vendor: LSI
Model: CVPM03
Serial: 1342

I think that is a supercap.

The replacement is likely UCSB-MRAID-SC= , which lists for 12Gb Flex SAS raid controller (UCSB-MRAID12G-HE)

Checking to confirm...

Thanks,

Kirk
