Reserved Vlan IDs in Cisco UCS

I understand the following to be true with Cisco UCS platform:

'you cannot create VLANs with IDs from 3968 to 4047. This range of VLAN IDs is reserved.'

I have a private 172.16.x.x network northbound on my network that is in vlan ID is 4001, I wanted to present this southbound on UCS.  This might be a stupid question but is the only way getting arounf this to change the Vlan ID to one that sits in the pool of UCS Vlan IDs that are allowed?

Btw, as I will have to do this, anyone know of any easy way I can check in my data centre all the uplink trunks that a vlan has been assigned to?
