RHEL Install CDROM Type

Having a strange issue installing RHEL 6.2 or 7.2. I am using the virtual media to mount the ISO and after the install starts the RHEL installer prompts me for what type of CDROM I have? I have installed RHEL on UCS before and didn't get this prompt. I am on firmware 2.03a.

anyone else ever seen this issue?

RHEL Install CDROM Type

Hello Jeremy,

Can you please share the complete message and the blade model ?

I did not receive such messages with RHEL 6.2 / B200 M1 and UCSM 2.0.3a.

Hello Jeremy,

Please make sure the blad efimrware matches UCSM 2.0.3a version.

If it is happening consistently, press ALT + F3 to view Anaconda diagnostic messages. ( ALT + F1 to back to installation console )
