Third Party HBA-SAS with Cisco C460-M2 server

Dear Mentors

How can i connect Cisco UCS c series C460-M2 server with LTO-5 Tape drives. In 460 there is no SAS HBA. And in LT0-5 there is no FC port. Can i use third party  6GB HBA SAS in 460-M2 server. I think PCI is open standard and logically it should work !!! Appreciate your opinion.

Did you ever solve this? Did you try a third party SAS HBA?
