UCS KVM Console through IPMI Tools

Hi,

Is there any tools availble to gain KVM console access through IPMI for UCS Chassis blades?      We would like to give group of users to access only KVM console of blades through IPMI tools  and not  through KVM console through UCS Mgr.     This way, we don't have to create username at UCS Mgr level  and thus prevent users to gain read only access to UCS MGR.

Hello Hetal,

I am not sure if I understood your requirement. KVM only access can be provided for IPMI user.

Thanks for your quick response.  Basically I am looking to get KVM access to Blades without using KVM Manager/method provided by Cisco UCS.

I am looking for some sort of third party IPMI tools Such as (VNC Viewer plus etc) to directly connect to blade using IPMI user credential.
