UCS M1 and M2 Blades in same VMware Cluster

We have recently purchased some new UCS blades with the M2 processors in them. We currenly have UCS blades with M1 processors. As we upgrade to Vsphere5 we are faced with a decison on whether or not to mix the blades with both M1 and M2 processors in the same cluster. If anyone can point me in a direction where I can find more information as to whether or not these processor types are compatible in the same VMWare cluster and if there are any caveats with this design, it would be most appreciated. Thanks.

If you enabe VMware EVC on the cluster you can have both M1 (Nehalem CPUs) and M2 (Westmere CPUs) in the same cluster and be able to vMotion between them. Take a look at this screenshot

Jeremy, Thank you for the response. This is what I was looking for.
