Solved: UCS460 M1 with single drive

Hello,

Anybody know if theres any way to make a UC460 to be installed with one hard drive only?. I didn't realized this servers are coming without the RAID card.

Hi Victor,

To the best of my knowledge you need a RAID card installed in the riser to use the hard drives as there is no onboard SAS chipset.

Here is the spec sheet with the applicable part numbers for the RAID controllers:
