We currently have a UCS-C240M3 with a LSI 9266 SAS card running 24 SFF drives, this card has 2 SAS cables plugged into it that plug into the SAS expander and backplane. We are now upgrading with the 8110-4i which only has 1 - SAS port on the card. I know this server supports the card as it could have been purchased this way but I cant find the correct guide to show me how to cable it properly. Can someone point me to the correct document for the cabling?
I already checked this:

manvelas,
Thanks for your reply, I found this same document after this post and read it. We purchased this card new from a Cisco reseller, and we already have cable kit UCSC-CABLE6 with the 9266, the 9266 was cabled the way page C22 PCIE says to cable it.
The problem is the 8110 has a "single" SAS port as mentioned above. I was able to get the cabling figured out though, check this link.

Two questions, when you cable the controller this way, was the controller able to see all 24 drives?
If you were able to see all of he drives did you make any changes on the bios?

Yes this confguration will support and show all 24 drives. I did not make any BIOS changes during this process, but very good question. Cisco support confirmed this is also the correct setup. They have yet to supply documentation which I have requested.
