In vsphere, I see i have some hosts have vhba1 and vhba2
but some other hosts shows vhba3 and vhba4
All the hosts are using the same service profiles and have 2 vhba per host
why is the number not the same ?

Is a known problem; are the blades and I/O adaptor identical ?
see eg.

yes it identical. both blades are the same, same hardware. When i reinstall esxi 5.5, vmhba defaults to vmhba3 and vmhba4
but my other host is at vmhba1 and vmhba2
why is that? This is causing a problem with me applying host profiles
