Hi Nik,

There is no "xmlagent" per-se.

The *only* way to communicate to the UCS Manager is via the XML/API.

When you run the Java GUI --- even that communication is over the XML/API.

(If you running on Windows 7, you can even examine the GUI log file to see the XML/API calls at

         C:\Documents and Settings\<UserID>\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\log\.ucsm

)

There's no way that UCS Manager can be "working but inaccessible over the XML/API".   Not possible.

Hope this helps,

Hi Jeff,

through XML API we don't get in depth information the way we get when we make ssh connection to the switch. e.g.  show environment command gives details info of FAN status , Temp, Power supply.

Houvblokf140-A(nxos)# show environment

We want same o/p on XML format for which we are trying to invoke XML interface via SSH

Thanks,

Abhishek
