i have a cisco router with my int e0 saying line up /protocol down ..could someone please help me diagnose the problem i have know idea where to start when i clear counters i have an increase in lost carrier and packets output

i am a ccna student trying to set up vlans with a trunk on a 1900 c1924 does it have trunking ports ,how can i tell (what cmds)could i use to verify ..any help would be greatly appreciated....
