Is there a way to prepend a letter or text to an inbound caller id name

Is that any type of addon software that a user can see the status of a phone of another user other than the Call Attendant. I am wanting to give multiple people access to see a list of users and there current phone status (On a Call, Free, Fowarded ...

I see that Cisco is about ready to EOF the Cisco Call Attendant. What is nice is that this option is free. What do they plan to offer now in its place that is also usable and free.
