CiscoWorks DFM is reporting a high discard rate on a Gig interface of a 2950 access switch. What would cause such a condition? This an intermittent condition that does not happen often.

I had to reinstall CiscoWorks from scratch after I changed the IP address. There were too many things messed up to be worth troubleshooting.

I went ahead and changed it, now I cannot access the ani database or use many of the functions. Any ideas? I have already restored the ani database.

Thanks for responding. If I were to configure our switches to send SNMP traps to our ciscoworks server, would DFM receive them, or is there another step in the process? Thanks for your help.
