Hi,I can't seem to find such trivial info as port numbering scheme on the 3560G-24 and 3560G-48 anywhere. Does anyone know the port numbers for the 4 SFP ports on these two 3560G models? Thanks.
Thanks. Yes, I'm quite aware that they does not follow the 3750 numbering scheme. What I was not sure about was whether the SFPs "share ASICs" with the copper ports.Based on your response, should I then presume that we can only use EITHER the SFPs OR...
As per my response to the other poster, the priority command enables LLQ. LLQ will drop any traffic over the configured bandwidth. If you want the prioritised servers to use available bandwidth over what's been reserved, then use the "bandwidth" state...
I don't think the prioritised hosts would starve the traffic. What you suggested above was LLQ. LLQ will NOT use anymore than what has been configured, thanks to its policing feature. Any traffic exceeding the configured bandwidth will be discarded.
One other thing to note is the bandwidth that EIGRP uses depends on the bandwidth that IOS BELIEVES the interface runs. Therefore, if you have, for instance, 256Kbps frame relay, you will have to configure the proper bandwidth statement on the interf...
Whether or not you need IP routing enabled on the 3560 depends on where you want the Inter-VLAN routing to take place. Even the most basic image for 3560 should support basic IP routing (static, RIP). But, you DEFINITELY need to turn IP routing on th...
