Jabber Beta 11.9.1 just hangs now with iOS 11 on my iPhone when I open it. I've tried removing it and reinstalling it with no success... Any thoughts or input?

I guess I have too many local contacts on my iPhone. I removed and then reinstalled Jabber on my iPhone and didn't allow access to local contacts. I am now able to launch Jabber without any more issues.
Is this app still being supported? I am running ios 8.1 on my ipad and the email option doesn't work. There are several comments on the App Store with people having the same issue. ... Are there any work arounds? I am running the latest version of...
