Problem using MC3810

When using the MC3810 to pipe simple digital signals (non-addressed, non-packets), using cross-connects from serial interfaces to t1's on both ends. Cannot get end devices to see eachother. Suggestions Please!

Thanks, "a lot of troubleshooting" involved rechecking cable pin outs. Circuit is up and working fine.
