CM deployment experiencing scratchy / static noise with background music via iPod when external calls are parked or put on hold. Ideas?

For a CME project, client has a Juniper SSL/VPN running Java Secure Access Manager(JSAM). Client wants staff to use IP Communicator but cannot verify or document interoperability of IPComm w/ JSAM SSL/VPN. Any info is greatly appreciated
