Cisco 4500 chassis switch mentions 48Gbps per slot.What does it mean? if i am putting 12 port 10 GE i.e. 120Gbps per slot, will it support?

Hi Can ASA act as a proxy server?I dont want to redirect the traffic to third party proxy but ASA should be able to do this.Please share any technical document for configuration.Regards,Digvijay
