7985 phones video conferenc call

Hi ALL,

Does 7985 phone support video confrence calls to another 7985 phones or MCU needed?customer do not need MCU and need only 4 7985 phones and making video conference call between them.

if VideoConference supported does it need special configuration? or it is simple as audio conference call.

7985s will allow point-to-point video calling. For video conferencing with multiple participants, then an MCU is required.

I did get multipoint conferencing working using a basic built-in MCU with a Tandberg MXP 990 endpoint (H.323 not Skinny).

as soon as this tandberg equipment will be installed with SCCP firmware to register on CallManager it will loose it Software based MCU Conferencing feature where 1+5 parties can be there in a Conference without an External appliance/hardware however in this case for more than one VIDEO call MCU is required..
