associate a device to the user error

Hey All,

I'm trying to associate a device to a user from CCMAdmin and I keep getting a Error No: -1009 when I try it. I tried a search on google and came across one bug check fix for ciscoatguid. I tried the fix and to no luck it hasn't resolved yet. Any ideas?

CallManager 4.0.2sr2a / 4.0.X

Craig,

Looks like you're running into Bug CSCeg34036. Take a look at the following link for two solutions based on the root of the problem. Also, the problem is resolved in 4.0(2a) ES21, 4.1(2) ES13 or later versions, so you might consider upgrading your CCM.

Thanks Brandon,

Sorry, after further looking at the system I realized it is version 4.1(3) so I assume that the bugcheck doesn't apply to it or does it still apply?

I already tried the solution stated in the document and it doesn't seem to help resolve the issue at hand.

After removing the 3 ciscoat??? entries I tried to associate a device and I got a different error, error no: -50.

Any ideas on this one?

Even thought it is supposed to be fixed, I have seen this bug in 4.1(3). What SR are you running?

Try upgrading to the latest SR which is SR4d. You can find it here:

Yes, you will still get error 50, but it does work. If you look at the user again, you will see the device asscociated with the user.

Hello,

I have the same problem, but the release of the CCM is 4.2.3sr2b !!.

I gave the procedure to the customer, but I do not believe that this is the solution in this case.

When do you think?
